Application withdrawal

In certain circumstances, applicants may wish to withdraw their application before processing is completed.

Interim Withdrawal: Application for Interim withdrawal of passport: An Interim Withdrawal allows an applicant to temporarily withdraw their passport while their VISA application remains under process.

This option may be required if the applicant needs to use their passport for another visa application, travel requirement, or any other urgent purpose.

To complete the visa application process, the passport must be resubmitted to the Visa Application Centre (VAC) within 30 days of the Interim Withdrawal.

Processing Time: Requests for Interim Withdrawal or Complete Withdrawal are generally processed within 48 hours (by the third working day) from the time the request is received.

Complete Withdrawal: This is a complete withdrawal of the application as the applicant does not wish to pursue completion of the application and wishes to collect the passport back. Fees are non-refundable. Complete the Form Below and submit at the location where your application is lodged.
