VF Worldwide Holdings Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “VFS Global” or ”the Service Provider”) has been appointed by the High Commission of India, London and the consulate General of India in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester, Belfast (collectively, the Mission/Posts) to provide outsourced administrative and support services in United Kingdom in connection with consular, passport, visa, Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI), Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), Surrender Certificate (SC), Global Entry Program (GEP) verification and miscellaneous attestation/consular services (together, CPV Services).

The Service Provider’s role is limited to the performance of administrative and logistical functions as authorised by the Mission/Posts and permitted by applicable law, which may include (as applicable): operation of Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) and appointment/queue systems; provision of information and checklists as approved by the Mission/Posts; receipt and initial scrutiny of applications and supporting documents for completeness against Mission/Posts requirements; collection of the applicable Government of India fee(s) and the Service Fee; capture of biometrics where required by the Mission/Posts; digitisation/scanning and upload of documents to relevant Government of India platforms; transmission of applications to the Mission/Posts; and return of passports/documents to applicants in accordance with Mission/Posts directions.

All decisions relating to CPV Services—including whether an application is accepted for processing by the Mission/Posts, requests for additional information, processing timeframes, and any grant/refusal/issuance of a visa, passport, OCI, PCC, SC, attestation or other consular outcome—are made solely by the Mission/Posts (and/or the Government of India) in accordance with the applicable law and policy. The Service Provider does not make, and has no authority to make, influence or control those decisions.

The Service Provider will exercise reasonable care in handling applications, passports and other documents while they are in the Service Provider’s custody or control. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider is not responsible for loss, damage or delay caused by events outside its reasonable control (including force majeure events or failures of third-party systems or networks). Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the United Kingdomn Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Non-official VFS Global sites

In accordance with the current legislation, VFS Global, as well as its affiliated companies, disclaim any representations or warranties, whether express or implied,in relation to the services provided by third parties, and accept no responsibility or liability for any services provided outside the official VFS Global websites and without the appropriate accreditation or authorisation of the relevant Diplomatic Missions of foreign states, including without limitation the content of such websites and any use thereof. Any information published on such websites or their subdomains does not constitute official information of VFS Global or any of its affiliated companies and should not be relied upon as such.

VFS Global cautions customers that any information made available on non-official VFS Global websites is provided by third parties in its original form and without any representation or warranty of any kind by VFS Global, whether as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness or otherwise. VFS Global expressly disclaims all express or implied warranties in relation to such information. Any access to or reliance upon, content available on non-official VFS Global websites is undertaken solely at the customer’s own discretion and risk.

VFS Global cautions customers that when accessing or using non-official VFS Global websites, neither VFS Global nor any of its affiliated companies makes any representation or warranty, whether express or implied in relation to any products or services provided through such websites, including, without limitation, as to the timeliness, relevance, accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose or regulatory compliance of the services. VFS Global further does not warrant that information made available on non‑official VFS Global websites does not infringe the rights of any third party.

VFS Global and its affiliated companies do not assume any obligation to monitor, verify or control the legality of any information transmitted by third parties to customers, including, without limitation, information exchanged between users or internally forwarded content in the form of links, text, documents or archives, where such information is accessed or transmitted through non‑official VFS Global websites.

VFS Global makes reasonable efforts to provide customers with accurate and reliable information and to maintain high standards in the provision of its services, which are offered exclusively through the official VFS Global websites and only where such services are provided with the appropriate accreditation or authorisation of the relevant Diplomatic Missions of foreign states.

In accordance with applicable law, VFS Global disclaims any representations or warranties, whether express or implied, and any liability in connection with the services and their use, where a customer accesses or uses non‑official VFS Global websites. Under no circumstances will VFS Global be liable to any party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of, or reliance on, any information made available on such websites.

Continued use of the website constitutes the Client's acceptance and agreement to be bound by terms set out in the above document. User / The Client acknowledges that they have read and understood the policy regarding the Declaration and Disclaimer of Liability.

Delivery Services

Where return of passports/documents are arranged via post or courier, transportation and delivery may be performed by third-party carriers, the Service Provider will arrange dispatch in accordance with the service standards agreed with the Mission/Posts. Delivery timeframes are dependent on third-party carrier performance and external factors beyond the Service Provider’s control. Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any non- excludable rights or remedies that an applicant may have under applicable law.

The Service Provider shall not be responsible or liable for any delay caused solely by third-party postal/courier services where such delay arise outside the Service Provider’s reasonable control. Where loss or damage occurs while documents are in the Service Provider’s custody or control, the Service Provider shall follow the incident reporting and resolution process agreed with the Mission/Posts and shall comply with any applicable legal obligations.

Service Fees

The Service Fee (where applicable) is payable at the time of booking for the submission of an application and is separate from the Government of India fee(s) collected on behalf of the Mission/Posts. Subject to applicable law (including the United Kingdom Consumer Law) and any refund/cancellation policy published or approved by the Mission/Posts in respect of services not availed, the Service Fee is generally non-refundable once the relevant services have been provided. The Service Fee covers the standard administrative/support services provided in relation to CPV Services, including Application Facilitating Services, where such services form part of the contracted scope of services.

Onshore service delivery: The Service Provider delivers its administrative/support services in United Kingdom through its ICAC network and related support channels. As part of performing those services, information and documentation may be transmitted to the Mission/Posts and/or relevant Government of India systems and platforms for processing, decision-making, recordkeeping, and compliance purposes, in accordance with applicable law and the Mission/Posts’ requirements.

The applicant hereby accepts and confirms that the applicant and/or his/her representative, prior to submitting the visa application, has read, understood and agreed to be bound by, without limitation or qualification, all of the terms, conditions and details provided herein.
